We offer interactive school and educational programs throughout Jersey City, Hoboken, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Northern New Jersey, combining professional character performances with literacy, creative movement, music, storytelling, and theatrical enrichment.

Our team of 15 trained musical theater performers creates engaging, age-appropriate experiences for preschools, elementary schools, daycare centers, libraries, community organizations, and school enrichment programs.

Unlike traditional character appearances, our educational programs encourage children to actively participate, build confidence, develop listening skills, explore their creativity, and learn through imaginative play.

Our team brings experience both on and off the stage! In addition to our work with Jersey City Party Characters, our staff members teach and lead enrichment programming at respected schools, educational institutions, and community organizations, including The Brunswick School, Life Time Fitness, Trinity Church, The Calhoun School, The Hudson School, and more. With backgrounds in musical theater, education, performing arts, and children's enrichment, our instructors bring a unique combination of professional performance experience and hands-on teaching expertise to every program we offer.

1. Interactive Character Storytime

Make reading an adventure with interactive character storytime! Our professional character performers bring beloved fairytales, children's books, and imaginative stories to life through engaging storytelling, songs, dancing, and interactive activities.

Children are encouraged to actively participate by answering questions, following along with the story, engaging in listening comprehension activities, and joining their favorite characters in musical moments. These experiences help foster early literacy, listening skills, imagination, and a love of reading.

2. Act It Out Storytime

What happens when children get to become the characters in their favorite stories? They become the stars of the show!

Our Act It Out Storytime program transforms traditional storytelling into an interactive theatrical experience. Children are assigned characters and invited to participate in acting out a familiar story alongside our professional performers.

Through guided roleplay, movement, dialogue, and imaginative play, students explore storytelling, self-expression, teamwork, listening skills, and creative confidence.

3. Character Zumba & Dance Parties
